Faux - origin, french - pronounciation: \fo\ as in "foe" |
definition: imitation <faux marble> |
From butterflies to diamonds, cabinets to mirrors to walls, you'll be able to do it all. And your friends will compliment you on how beautiful and reflective of your style your rooms are. Also, whenever you want a new look, removal is easy and usually just takes a few minutes. |
Traditional fauxing is done with paint, paintbrushes, plaster, and special tools. You paint and repaint and it's a fairly messy and time-consuming process. Plus, in order to undo it, you have to buy even more paint and then re-paint the same area. Which equals more time and more mess to clean up afterwards. Whew! |
Now don't get me wrong, painting is an excellent way to be creative on a budget. I even have a project in my e-book that uses paint. But now there's an even easier less costly way... |
